Time flies when you're having fun! That's what THEY say ... whoever THEY are. Well, so true. It has been a while since I've blogged, mainly because we were too busy having fun to write about all the fun we were having.August brought many guests to our house, and for all of them it was a first time in Canada. Sight-seeing was first on the docket, after many lovely hours spend just being together. My parents came to town the first week, and overlapped a couple of days with our second visitor, our middlest son Jack. Following Jack, we had a one-day stopover from a traveling friend, and then we took a pause to do the mundane like laundry, house cleaning, and grocery shopping. It was a great month.
In addition, homeschool has begun once again. We took time off while everyone was here, which is unusual for us. We usually take our breaks throughout the year, and school year round. But six weeks off proved to be a good thing, and we're now off and running.
All this means one thing. I've got some catching up to do in the blogging world, for those of you who are interested in the comings and goings in our little corner of the world. Stay tuned. Over the next few days, I hope to share with you all the excitement, and many of the photos. This is just a teaser!
